- Wednesday, March 19, 2008 Wire Problems Reviewed By: Sharron (Lima, Ohio) On one of my bra's the wire poked through the fabric in 2 months. Now a second one in 3 months, has a wire that broke in half. I love the bra. It is the most comfortable bra I have ever worn, but am not happy with the problem with the wires. I was told by Customer Service at Lady Grace that the life time of a bra is only 3-4 months. That is rediculous! No one replaces a bra in 3-4 months. Even the Customer Service Representative at Lady Grace agreed that she had never replaced a bra in that length of time. And these bra's are $68.00 each! I am sending them back to Lady Grace and hope to get $136.00 worth of satisfaction.

Then, after a few months of wear, the underwire broke through and stabbed me under the breast. This happened while on vacation where I had no time to shop so I had to try and mend it, but the wire kept poking out. I was so disappointed because I loved this bra in all other ways. I then bought another one, hoping the first one was just a bad apple. Here's something odd. They must have changed the manufacturing because the new bra "squeaked"! That's right, I said "squeaked"! Every time I turnedl one way or the other with my body, there was this weird squeaking sound coming from the underwire, like a small squeaking floorboard sound. Very distracting. I saw where one reviewer took her underwire out. Perhaps I will try that. I WANT to love this bra so I hope they get the underwire problem figured out.
